About
The Spotlight Speaker Series presented by Aims Community College is the first of many, as the College intends to make it an annual tradition, bringing a variety of nationally well-known speakers to share compelling stories and ideas with the broader Northern Colorado community.
“Aims is committed to community collaboration,” said Dr. Leah L. Bornstein, Aims Community College CEO and president. “We want to host events like the Spotlight Speaker Series to facilitate dialogue, build connections, foster engagement and get the community on campus.”
The mission of Aims Community College is to provide knowledge, skills and support services to advance the quality of life, economic vitality and overall success of the diverse communities we serve. The Spotlight Speaker Series creates a platform to fulfill this mission, delivering new insights in an inspiring and engaging format designed to empower attendees with knowledge that can enrich their lives.
Hosted in the Miller Auditorium at the Aims Welcome Center at 4901 20th Street in Greeley, the series will expose the greater Aims community to the ideas and perspectives of thought leaders who share stories of their unique life experiences and areas of expertise. Along with keynote presentations, sessions will include moderated Q&A opportunities with the presenters.
